I'm Melinda... family, maternity and newborn photographer. As a former daycare owner, I know children and I don't expect them to be "cooperative" and "pose", I expect them to be children. So what does that mean? You can expect a lot of playing, snuggling and exploring while I take photos of the connection you share. Do we sneak a few "snuggle close and everyone look at the camera" kind of shots? Of course but I promise to make it fun!!

I know how quickly time passes. Little ones grow up far too fast so I am here to freeze some of these sweet moments in time with beautiful photos for you to share for generations. Photos that tell a story, your story. What is your story?  It's your  "real", the way you look at each other, their tiny hand in yours, the way you love, your connection. Capturing true, authentic love is my mission and I'd love to capture your story. 

I am based in the Asheville area and travel throughout WNC for sessions. Since making this beautiful area our home almost four years ago, I have been scoping out beautiful spots for stunning photo sessions. The Blue Ridge Mountains and surrounding areas are gorgeous and I can't wait to tell your visual story here. Truth is,  I love to travel so if you have a location in mind, I'd love to talk about it!
